Four months later, I have been accepted to California Polytechnic school of San Luis Obispo, (Cal Poly SLO for short), it's the 3rd nationally ranked school for Architecture and I am excited to go. I have to turn in my portfolio first. But recently i've been realizing that to be a good architect or a good even a great anything it's m ore the student than the school that you go to. Just because one goes to a recognized school does not mean that they are better or smarter than anyone else. The school doesn't make the person, the person makes the person. So here begins the new journey i suppose. Kind of daunting. I'll check back in to tell you how it's going.
